Harbury & Bishops Itchington Patient Participation Group (PPG)
Are you a carer? Then this invite is for you!
We know that being a carer for a loved one (young or old) can be a lot of responsibility, but we also know that it is important for you to take care of yourself too.
For some carers the seeking and receiving of help and support from family, friends and others is relatively straight forward. However, for some, it is not so straight forward. We are aware that there are carers in our communities who are dealing with the daily challenges of meeting the physical and/or mental health care needs of a loved one in isolation. As such this can have a huge impact on the carer’s own health and wellbeing.
If you are a carer and /or the person you care for is a patient of Harbury/Bishops surgery then we warmly invite you to an informal get together for tea/coffee and cake! to chat and meet member(s) of our group and others in the same situation.
Our aim is for you to have some time out and to have a relaxing, supportive and mutually informative couple of hours in friendly company. Of course, we understand that some of you may need to bring along your loved one, and that too is fine.
So please put a note in your diary :-
