FAQs

What are the dispensary timings?

Prescription collection hours from the dispensary will be 9 am – 12 pm and 3:30 pm – 6 pm.

Telephone lines are open between 2 pm - 5 pm. The dispensary will require 3 working days to process a repeat prescription.

Can I get my prescription delivered?

Currently we are unable to offer a delivery service from our Dispensary. Some of the local Chemists may offer this service for a small charge. Please contact them directly for further information.

Can I have sign up to the “electronic prescription service” (EPS)?

EPS is where you can choose a pharmacy to dispense all your prescriptions. When you get a prescription, it will be sent electronically to the dispenser you have chosen. You can collect your medicines or appliances without having to hand in a paper prescription.

We currently are unable to offer this service from either the Harbury or Bishops Itchington Surgery.

How I order medicines urgently?

If you run out of medicine outside of your GP surgery's normal opening hours and need some urgently, there are a few ways to get an emergency supply quickly, even if you're away from home.

Do I need to Register every time I request a prescription?

No, this only needs to be done the first time that you use the service. When collecting login details please bring a form of ID with you

Will I receive an email confirming receipt of my request?

No, you will not receive an email, but the system stores a history of everything you ordered.

Can I use my email address for more than one family member?

To keep patient's records secure each patient will need their own login and password.

Why can I not see all my medication on the repeat medication list?

The doctor who prescribed your medication will decide whether it will be listed as a repeat medication on your records. This is a safety issue to ensure you are reviewed appropriately before any further medication is prescribed for you. If it is appropriate for you to order further prescriptions of the medication online it will be available for you to see and order when you login.

How long will my prescription take to be issued?

We do ask that you allow 3 working days for prescription requests.
